Linen Donation HOPINN Phuket / Phuket Oldtown
HOPINN Phuket and Phuket Old Town Donate Unused Linen to Soi Dog Foundation
At HOPINN, a member of The Erawan Group, our commitment to responsible business practices goes beyond delivering exceptional hospitality. We also strive to be a positive force in every community we serve.
In line with this commitment, our HOPINN Phuket and Phuket Old Town branches recently launched a meaningful donation initiative by contributing unused linen, including bedsheets, pillowcases, and towels, to the Soi Dog Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of stray dogs and cats in Thailand.
This initiative not only supports animal welfare but also reflects our focus on environmental sustainability by extending the life cycle of usable materials and reducing waste from hotel operations.
How the Donated Linen Is Used
The donated linens are repurposed by the Soi Dog Foundation at their animal shelter facilities. These materials are used to line sleeping areas, provide comfort for rescued animals, and support cleanliness and hygiene within the shelter. The items, although no longer in use for hotel guests, remain in good condition and serve a vital purpose in improving the day-to-day care of stray animals.
Creating Positive Impact for Animals, Communities, and the Environment
This donation project exemplifies the power of small actions creating meaningful change. It highlights the importance of collaboration between the private sector and civil society organizations. HOPINN is proud to support Soi Dog Foundation’s mission of protecting vulnerable animals and raising awareness of animal welfare issues across Thailand.
The initiative also fostered employee engagement, as hotel team members participated in preparing and sorting the linens for donation. This not only helped build a stronger sense of teamwork but also instilled a spirit of volunteerism and pride in contributing to a socially responsible cause.
Sustainability in Action at HOPINN
The donation of unused linens is part of HOPINN’s broader commitment to sustainability. Guided by the principle of “maximizing resource value while giving back to society,” we continue to seek opportunities to integrate environmental and social responsibility into our business operations.
By reusing materials that still have value, we help minimize landfill waste, support local organizations, and contribute to a more circular economy. This project is one of many community-focused efforts that demonstrate HOPINN’s dedication to sustainable hospitality.
Looking ahead, HOPINN will continue to explore and implement projects that support the environment, local communities, and meaningful partnerships. Because at HOPINN, we believe sustainability is not just a business goal, it’s a shared journey between people, places, and the planet.
